New York/Chicago

When Brad was a little boy, he always wanted a restaurant named New York/ Chicago! Well I had some New York pizza here that I loved. Why? I don't know! It was tomato and artichoke! I know. I know! Your stomach! But there was no tomato sauce. Just the cheese and artichoke went through the oven and then the diced tomato added. Kind of like an afterthought. It was different and tasty.

Oh and Brad is the big guy in the picture! Glad I jogged your memory?

One month or so later

Hey I have found some really cool knitting patterns in the home section of Ravelry. But I'm not near my stash. So I have to remember where they were. Try page 141! No, I did not go page by page. I started at the end after I saw the first 10 pages. I'm looking for a bath scrubbie thing. It's for a trade. I found the yarn to use for the BONBON one in LooPs in Tulsa. It'll be here next week. Let you know how that one turns out. It calls for a nylon cord to scrunch it together. But, hey, I think a chain stitch from the yarn would work just as well. Don't you?

Collecting

For some reason, known only to himself, Todd is acquiring, through the GOODWILL auction online, several different brass instruments. Matt thinks it is truly wonderful. I took pictures with my phone. Come over and I'll show you! Next week!

PIZZA

Hey How are you anyway? We're going to try Domino's new pizza! We never had one in Brazil so I'm not quite sure what all the fuss was for, but I can tell I really relate to their honesty⁄!

Learning and.....

Well I learned something new about computer site linking tonight. Yeah for me! At this rate I may just be able to post pictures using the APPLE sooner than I thought.

Half off

After Christmas sales are 1/2 off, not me. Although certain ones would loudly disagree! Standing joke around here!! All in all, as long as I don't look at the living room, I have done very well cleaning these last few days.Am almost caught up on my mailings. Picked up $64 worth of goodies at Walmart yesterday! Kenny paid for them, after all he has the money. That's what he gets for telling me to retire. Bless his heart!!

Little light touches

Well here I am again! Firstly let me tell you how really glad I am to see you here and then let me tell you that my fingers are too heavy for this keyboard. Alas! Tis true!!
Mildred Penman taught me typing at dear old BHS and you are to have a firm key stroke. Yeah right!! On this board a firm key stroke will give you far too many letters in any given word. Miss Penman always smelled like the perfume counter at MEIS. Like Miss Penman, MEIS is gone too. Oh I forgot to tell you Miss Penman became Mrs. Paul Turner after she retired. Ah! Truth!
