TWO YEARS OLD

Matt was 2 yesterday! He measured in a little over 36 inches. My boys were all about 34 and 35 inches with Cody being the one a squinch over 35! I do know that squinch is not in the dictionary but it should be! If you double a boy's height onthe day he turns 2 that will tell you how tall he will be as a man! Works, too!

something to do

Seems as if there must always be something to do out here with the kids. Yesterday we walked all over the National Zoo and still didn't see it all. Matt loved the ducks and the ride on the Metro! I missed seeing any hippos. Walking back we/I took elevators whenever possible to get to the Metro. I kept thinking of that Hugh Jackman, Meg Ryan movie where he invents the elevator because building height will out strip our legs one day. Probably an age thing!! Then we went to Golden Corral. Finished the day up with a stop at CVS and were home a little before 10 pm. See I told you! Jerry and Alicia went with us. She's from Peru. Not Indiana! The country! Boy do you look silly!

TRIP< no vacation

Came to Evansville for twofold reason! One to help Brad put in a new hot water heater and two, to check out a place for Ryan. Matt slept all the way from Terre Haute down. Made it really hard on Papa's bladder. But he knew it was a tricky assignment when we started. He made it in little pain. It's good to know. Just don't give him anything to drink on the way and make sure he goes before we go.Make sense? At his age? Yes, 60 this year!!

Now to Ryan! I love it and I hope he will, too. Country! Nature trail! Animals! Roommates!

New York/Chicago

When Brad was a little boy, he always wanted a restaurant named New York/ Chicago! Well I had some New York pizza here that I loved. Why? I don't know! It was tomato and artichoke! I know. I know! Your stomach! But there was no tomato sauce. Just the cheese and artichoke went through the oven and then the diced tomato added. Kind of like an afterthought. It was different and tasty.

Oh and Brad is the big guy in the picture! Glad I jogged your memory?

One month or so later

Hey I have found some really cool knitting patterns in the home section of Ravelry. But I'm not near my stash. So I have to remember where they were. Try page 141! No, I did not go page by page. I started at the end after I saw the first 10 pages. I'm looking for a bath scrubbie thing. It's for a trade. I found the yarn to use for the BONBON one in LooPs in Tulsa. It'll be here next week. Let you know how that one turns out. It calls for a nylon cord to scrunch it together. But, hey, I think a chain stitch from the yarn would work just as well. Don't you?
