Finished sock

It just happened I finished another sock and started its mate. I'm going to use a different rib for the next pair. Notice that I said different pair. Oh yes I have great plans for "the sock drawer". Of course the stash is going down too I hope.

Shawl Exchange

Well I finally assigned partners on the exchange. I really couldn't ask for a better group. TEATIME is chatty and friendly and easygoing. Describes me too. I wish that there had been a couple more sign up-big sigh. No special reason just do. Janet is my partner. She's witty and funny. Having never met her I can say that because that's how she presents herself. Oh and I guess she is tall. Well, taller than I am. Of course half the world is taller than I am and have bigger feet too.(refer to previous post).

SOCKS!

I love to knit these little socks. My feet are size 3- growing child size. Pretty good for someone approaching 60. My drawer is bursting with them. Somewhere I read that if you knit socks you never have to worry about finding its mate. But I have lost a sock. Hopefully it just went on hiatus and will return. I did it out of the STRATA yarn by Red Heart. It does get softer as you wash it. I use ORVUS from the feed store, Graham Grain in Terre Haute, for my washings. So far so good. Self stripe knitting is fun, really fun.

Why I did this thing!

Now here I am with a ton of propjects and I'm goin to blog. This is unbelievable. I'm going to have more to remember than I care to but hey I can do this,I think.
