RYAN

Cody brought Ryan from Evansville today for his psych appointment in Terre Haute. There are no psychiatrists in Evansville taking new patients. Go figure. Well, come to think of it there are no dentists either. Third largest city in the state is sadly lacking! Cost me to get out of Terre Haute!

I went back to Terre Haute this afternoon to River Wool. It feels good.! Looks good! Is good! However again she was sold out of Fridays. If I could just get one more Friday in the month I think I could get a lot more done.Maybe........... Fat Chance!

New yarn

I know what I said to you about using from the stash. But wait until I tell you that Martha is having her 1st anniversary sale and she had bags of yarn from the yarn wall , pricey stuff. for $10! Limit 2 to a customer. You got to put your choice of yarns in the bag! WOW! She's also discounting purchases. I sure hope business is so good for her that she has a 22nd anniversary sale. Just think about it. Hey I got to go knit now.

Terre Haute

To my knowledge there is no other Terre Haute. I guess that's good. At least most people know that it is in Indiana. Maybe that's because of that song that made the charts 20 years ago. Anyway Cody and I went over to Rural King after some chaps for him when he rides.Bought them, then he let me go to River Wool, then we went to Honey Creek, then to Fazolis where we met up with Tina and Charlie-German exchange student. She's cute.They wanted to go see Indiana Jones, so I took the van and went to Baeslers and then home. Movie was sold out so Cody showed up earlier than I thought. Nola and mom went over to pick her wedding shoes up.Nola's,not mom's. I've been knitting today,too. Check the time. Yeah, good night.

Joannes is the winner

I ordered wool from KNITPICKS on Friday evening, actually it was more like 10pm. An hour later I ordered from Joannes. I got Joannes today. Perfect colors and great timing. Today Knitpicks told me that I could expect their box in 5-14 days. ARGhh! The whole thing proves that it is faster to get things from north to south that east to west. HMHMHMH! Wonder if it has anything to do with the tilt of the earth?

Fiber fair

Found that the Fiber Fair in Greencastle is April 12. Now if Matt is on time I can go but if he's early I'll be in Virginia. You know what either is fine with me although I do have a LOT more knitting to do after today. Martha had such a smile on her face when I left. Hey she owns RIVER WOOL. A happy owner is a happy buyer who in turn is a happy seller who makes me a happy buyer. Get it? It's so easy once you get it. Now if I could only buy some more time or else maybe I could knit faster. I know. Work on it!

Tomorrow is Friday and should be March

Hey It is leap year and all is well. I have reference to my cough. For all practical purposes it is gone. Personally I'd like to think that my recovery has to do with my excursion to RIVER WOOL after school (I was at Northview as a history teacher) today. It is possible. Yarn just is a feel good thing. Wait until you see what I do with it. Some will go for a sock swap but some is all mine.

I'll teach tomorrow at Greencastle and visit the nursing home after school. Think I'll take them the loops I cut and let them make me some more rug yarn. Yes! That's a good idea. I'll do it!
